Events in the Castle

For years, Sümeg Castle has been a favourite venue for festivals, concerts, theatre performances, team-building activities and film shootings.

In addition to larger events, we also host family events and wedding photo shoots.

In recent years, the Sümeg Castle has also become one of the venues for the Night of Museums, a series of events that has been growing in popularity. On this night in June, the courtyard of the Castle is illuminated with bonfires and light paintings. The hours-long show features fire jugglers, showmen, and musicians and presents medieval nightlife. We communicate with the surrounding castles by light signals and the guided night tours are a real curiosity.
